Loretta Petronzi

Loretta Petronzi is a certified Montessori teacher. She studied and taught at West Side Montessori School in Manhattan. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Hofstra University and she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a dual Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Concordia University. Loretta and her daughter Mary Todd opened Our House Creative Family Childcare in Bethpage in 2010. Loretta has lived in Bethpage her entire life where her and her husband raised their four daughters. She has 11 grandchildren, two of which will be attending our Montessori School. Loretta has an extensive history working with children and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and love with the students at Our House Montessori School.

Mary Petronzi Todd

Mary Todd has an extensive background in children’s education. Both her undergraduate and master’s degrees were conferred at Hofstra University. She graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and English and American Literature, followed by a MS with distinction in Literacy Studies from birth through grade six. In 2009, Ms. Petronzi and Ms. Todd opened Our House Creative Family Childcare, a group family daycare in Mary’s childhood home in Bethpage. There she was the lead teacher, developing and implementing the curriculum. She was also the daycare’s Provider for a few years before having her own three children, the youngest of which will be attending Our House Montessori School. Mary opened a second home daycare in Bethpage with her husband Michael. Ms. Todd is passionate about teaching children and is excited to share this enthusiasm with the students of OHMS.
